What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can remember preferences, keep a login session active, or help measure how pages are used. Similar technologies (such as local storage or pixels) may serve comparable purposes; we refer to them collectively as “cookies” here.

This policy should be read alongside our privacy policy.

Cookies we use

Cookie / provider Who sets it Purpose Typical duration
Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, and related) Google Measures page views, referral sources, and aggregate usage Up to 24 months (provider-defined)
Cloudflare Turnstile Cloudflare Anti-spam check on the contact form only Short-lived / session

Public visitors browsing the directory, brand pages, hubs, and guides do not need to accept cookies for core content to load. Analytics runs to help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site.

Third-party policies

Google Analytics and Cloudflare process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We configure analytics for site measurement; we do not use it to identify individual bettors or sell personal data.

Your choices

You can:

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time
  • Use browser extensions that limit analytics or third-party cookies
  • Avoid the contact form if you do not want Turnstile cookies (email us via an alternative channel only if we publish one)

Blocking all cookies may mean analytics under-counts visits and the contact form anti-spam check fails.

Changes

We will update this page if we add new tools (for example a cookie consent banner or additional analytics). Material changes will be reflected here; the “last updated” date on the page shows when the latest version was published.
